This is a great Hand Painted Nippon Salt and Pepper Set! Hard to find them together since they're almost 100 years old! They measure 2 1/2" tall and have a 4 1/2 diameter. The set is marked with #25 back stamp Hand Painted Nippon per Joan Van Pattens Collectors Encyclopedia of Nippon Porcelain. This stamp dates between 1891 and 1921. There are no chips, cracks or fractures on these pieces. One of the pieces still has its original cork. The Azalea pattern is a highly collectible pattern and these pieces would be a great addition!
