18th Century Primitive Food Chopper

These food choppers were made from 1700-1820. Features wooden handles and a nice curved forged wrought iron blade. This style was used in a wooden bowl rocking it back and forth. Appears to have a makers mark on one side of the blade(see pictures). Just a good old chopper; wood handles have nice original surface and the blade has a nice patina. Nice decorator piece that would look great in any period kitchen, they look great hanging on the wall. 13-1/2"W x 10"H
