Vintage Marx Mortimer Snerd Tricky Auto Windup Toy - 1939
Mortimer Snerd Tricky Auto is another great tin windup toy made by the Louis Marx & Co. Watch it go backward and lift up off the front wheels as it spins. Then forward it goes with Mortimer's head spinning 360 degrees and again lifting up off the front wheels before it reverses. It continues this pattern with 360 degree turns and repeats this movement. Toy is in good played with condition with some scratches and paint rubs, windup is in good working order. The front right tire does have some surface oxidation on it(please see photos). With toys like this it is no wonder why Marx was the largest toy manufacturer. 7"L x 6-1/2"H
