19th Century Primitive Wooden Apple Parer Peeler

Early 1800's primitive hand driven apple parer on base. Nice wrought iron prongs used to hold the apple securely. A very nice piece of early Americana that would fit in beautifully with a period kitchen. This piece appears to have been a museum deaccession item from The Edison Institute. 26"L x 8"W
