What's It? wind up car made by the Ferdinand Strauss Corp. c. 1925, The car is very brightly and colorfully lithographed. The name says it all, it appears to resemble a zeppelin but with a seated driver and wheels. This is a very scarce toy.
The toy is clockwork driven and when wound the toy moves erratically back and forth and the driver spins around. Overall toy is in excellent condition but does have some scratches and loss of paint (please see photos). Very nice early toy from the company that "founded" American mechanical toys. 9'' long.
