Vintage 1930's Marx Charlie McCarthy Walker Tin Windup Toy

Vintage Louis Marx tin windup toy walker featuring Charlie McCarthy, the mischievous child-star ventriloquist dummy, used by ventriloquist Edgar Bergen in his radio act from 1936 to 1955, and later in the 1950's. When wound up his mouth opens and closes and he waddles and walks. Light play wear consistent with age, the windup is working and is in overall excellent condition (please see photos). Just a great tin toy from one of the largest toy companies ever to exist. 8"H
