Weiss Jewel Colors Rhinestone Butterfly Pin / Brooch

Weiss is famous for their butterfly pins, which came in many shapes, colors and sizes. Of all of them, this design is my personal favorite. This version has purples, reds and greens for the larger marquise rhinestones in a gold tone setting. The smaller rhinestones edging the wings are pastel colors of pinks and greens in no particular pattern - often called "end of day" pieces, when rhinestone colors were whatever was left.

Measurements: It measures 2-3/8 inches across and is 2 inches tall.

Condition: The pin is in excellent condition with very minor flea bites and scuffs to the larger rhinestones visible with a loupe. The gold tone metal is in great condition and the rhinestones sparkle. Please use the zoom feature to review all the photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.

Marks: The piece is signed "WEISS" with a copyright symbol.
