Vintage Trifari GOP Gold Toned Elephant Pin / Brooch

This Vintage Trifari gold toned elephant pin was produced in the 1950's as a political party duo - the GOP Republican elephant and the Democratic donkey. As the presidential season heats up, how fun is it to advertise your party affiliation with a pin! Or, as a "must have" for elephant pin collectors. Much of the elephant's body has a nubby textured fur with an up swung trunk and a tiny red cabochon eye.

Measurements: The Trifari brooch 1 1/2 tall by 1 inch wide.

Condition: The pin is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear. From the photos, it looks like there is wear at the base of the tusk, but it the shadow effect of the shiny gold tone plating going over the textured plating. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.

Marks: "Trifari©" with the crown symbol over the T. This duo is a popular collectible.
