We are pleased to offer this vintage Crown Trifari pink shoe button grapes dress / fur clip. This book piece is described on page 200 of "Collecting Rhinestone & Colored Jewelry" (Fourth Edition, 1998) by Maryanne Dolan with an estimated value at that time of $300-375. The bunch of grapes are pink half round semi-transparent cabochons, with a rhinestone studded pin in each. The rest of the pin is a rhodium plated silver tone that ties the grapes with a clear rhinestone studded bow. Very classy and feminine!
Measurements: The fur clip measures approximately 2 1/4 inches (5.5 cm) tall by 1 1/2 inches (3.8 cm) wide.
Condition: Considering its age, it is in excellent condition with sparkle to the stones and bright tone to the metal, with minimal signs of wear except for one tiny hole to the metal on the back side. A few stones are likely replacements and with a loupe you will notice some stones are brighter than others. Please use the zoom feature to review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
Marks: The clip is marked "TRIFARI" on the clip finding with the crown symbol above the letter "T" The shoe button Trifari pieces are highly collectible - and are lovely!
