This vintage purse is vibrant glass beads in an Art Deco geometric style. The back ground is vivid orange, medium sized glass beads; with a diamond pattern of pink and blue beads curving around the bottom and a curvy/flower designs in pink, black blue and green in the center. The cloth handle is also beaded with black, blue, orange and pink rows. The frame is a faux tortoise shell lucite with a push down clasp. The lining is a gray blue with a tiny pocket. This bright, lush purse still has a lot of life left in it!
Measurements: it is 9 inches tall, including the frame, and 8 inches wide. The cloth handle is 15 inches long. The body is an oval shape.
Condition: The purse is in very good condition overall. The cloth back side of the handle is fraying, and there are a few loose threads/bead. The lucite clasp and the beads on the purse look very good. The lining is intact, but shows its age with the beginning of frays. Labels: No labels. The stitching gives it a hand made appearance. From the 1930 - 1940 Art Deco era.
