This is a vintage Mexico sterling silver bracelet with a green scarab stone set in each of the six links. Each stone has a rope base and silver balls flanking either side. This is an airy design with a slight curve to each section. There are other pieces such as a necklace and brooch that have the same green scarab motif.
Measurements: The bracelet is 7 inches long with a secure snap in closure and 7/8 inch wide.
Condition: The bracelet is in excellent vintage condition with little signs of wear. Please use the zoom feature to review all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
Marks: It is marked on the back of ending link "Hecho en Mexico Plata925" with the initials "CJB" in the center. It is by the unidentified silversmith who signed his works CJB. This silversmith sometimes executed the designs of Diaz Santoyo, however, when that occurred both hallmarks were there. This bracelet is only hall marked "CJB" and is his design. This was made prior the use of the Eagle mark in 1948.
