Vintage Eugene 6 Strand Yellow / Brown Crystal Necklace and Earring Set

This is a different style for Eugene - looking less like Haskell and more like Coppola e Toppo, both in the color gradation of the beads and the clasp style. As a California gal, this necklace really evokes the golden shades of our summers - truly spectacular!

Measurements: The necklace measures 15 inches length and 1-1/4 inches in width. The round, domed clip earrings are 1 1/4 inch in diameter.

Marks: The necklace is marked "Eugene" in cursive on a cartouche; the earrings are each marked "EUGENE" on the clip back. Eugene Shultz was born in 1911 and died in 1964. "Eugene Jewelry" started in 1952 after he left Miriam Haskell's company and he closed his business in 1962. All of his pieces were his designs and hand made by his company. Haskell, Robert, DeMario and Eugene shared many design characteristics; of the four Eugene was by far the smallest in production and is highly collectible.
