Vintage Signed DeMario 3 Strand Root Beer Colored Necklace

Vintage DeMario necklaces are timeless - always gorgeous, always looking "in style." This signed Demario features 3 stands of beads that repeat the pattern of round root beer colored faceted bead, rectangular faceted semi-flat root beer bead with an aurora borealis coating on one side, and then a smaller version of that. There is a tiny spacer bead between each. The clasp is typical DeMario with the gold tone montes on the end pieces and on the top of the J hook. This necklace has warm fall colors with the extra pizazz that comes from the AB beads.

Measurements: The necklace is 15 inches long with an additional 3.5" on the extender. The strands are 13.5", 15", and 16.5" long.

Condition: This gorgeous DeMario is in very good vintage condition. This means that there are lots of tiny scuffs and dings visible with a loupe, and gold tone of the metal is dark; but to the naked eye it looks wonderful. Please review all the photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description.

Marks: Signed DeMario on back of clasp. Robert DeMario founded his company in New York City in 1945 after working for Miriam Haskell during the 1940s. DeMario's jewelry characteristically uses clusters of faceted glass or crystal beads, faux pearls and rhinestones on filigree backings. His company's production was limited in quantities and superior in quality. It closed operations in 1965, so it is highly collectible.
