Antique Mercury Glass Vase Hand Painted Flowers 10.5"

This lovely, sparkly vase is made of mercury or silvered glass. Mercury glass was popular from the mid 1800's until about 1920. It was sometimes know as poor man's silver. This vase is a big one at 10.5" tall. It's in wonderful condition with minimal wear to the silvering. The front is decorated with hand painted flowers in soft shades of green, pink, white and blue. There is some wear to the painted decoration. No chips, cracks or significant scratches.
