Antique Gorham Sterling Silver Orange Pattern Citrus Spoon H38

This lovely and somewhat rare citrus spoon was made by Gorham Mfg. Co. patent dated 1891. It's an H series pattern, H38 and production was limited. The beautifully cast handle is formed as an orange branch with a leaf as the bowl. Both the oranges on the handle and the bowl are gold washed for a very pretty effect. The spoon measures 5.5" long and weighs a substantial 32g. It's in very good condition with wear to the gilding on the heel of the bowl.
