Antique Gorham Sterling Silver Tea Caddy c.1910 ~ Pretty Hexagon
This pretty sterling silver tea caddy was made by Gorham c.1900. It has an elegant hexagonal shape with delicate beaded detail at the neck. The top is beautifully monogrammed and dated 1911. It's in overall very good condition with light use wear. There are 3 very light dents/depressions. It was difficult to get a photo, but they look like they may have been caused by pressure from polishing over the years. The interior could use further cleaning. Lid fits snugly as it should. The bottom is marked for Gorham Mfg. Co., 925/1000 and sterling. There is a patent date of 1893 with initials over it (probably the retailer). The height is about 4.5" diameter is about 3". Weight: 5.4 troy ounces.
