Antique Victorian Gilt Picture Frame c.1880 ~ Original Decorative Mat

This very pretty picture frame was made c.1880. The surface is brightly gilt, the sides are black lacquer. The original decorative photo mat is in place. This is a nice smaller size that would work well in a grouping on the wall or used tabletop on an easel. This frame is in very good condition with minor wear to the gilding. The gold leaf is bright and original. It measures 11.75" x 10" overall, the picture area is 7.75" x 6".
