Mattel Barbie Firelighters Outfit-NRFP-On original Pink Card with Cello Wrap

On offer is a great Mod Mattel Barbie outfit, named ~Firelights~ This is #1481 and was made from 1969 - 1970. You will receive an Aqua and Silver Lame Brocade Jumpsuit with Blue Open Toe Heels. This is a jumpsuit (they were called hostess pajamas in the late 60s!) that is blue lame with a silver paisley brocade all-over design. It has silver braid straps and trim on the hem of the pants. This outfit can be very hard to find, even the blue open toe heels are hard to find. That color was not made in the earlier years. This outfit has never been removed, from the pink cardboard backing and is still sewn on the card. The shoes are in a little bag, there is a Barbie booklet and a Barbie hanger as shown. There would have been an outer, striped cardboard box that has gone missing at some point. The cello is torn in upper right corner and there is a pin hole in the left and right top corner. There is a label on the back that someone wrote in pen on, this gives information on the outfit. The outfit is in excellent, unplayed with condition. This is a great piece to add to any high end Barbie collection...love the fashion flair shown here...in fact, I want this in my size!!
