Antique Framed Photo - Little Girl with her Bisque Doll -Sweet
On offer is an antique, framed photo, of a little girl with her bisque doll. This is in the original frame, with oval mat. This fine piece measures, 10" by 5 1/2", the oval opening is 6" by 3". This sweet little girl in a white dress appears to be 5 or 6. This lovely lass, holds a cabinet sized, bisque doll, in her left arm and flowers in her right hand. She stands by an ornately carved wooden chair. The back of the photo has loose paper over the original backing, as shown. The matte has the incised names, Gardner and Allen, Enfield (in the UK) This pair of photographers had a booming business in Victorian England.
