On offer is a titian haired, Mattel Walking Jamie Doll for the 1972 only, Strollin In Style Gift Set. Jamie wears, Barbie Fringe Benefits dress, this is #3401 (1971-72). It is a tagged, Fuchsia Knit Mini-dress with Orange Suede Trim. This is in excellent condition. The Fuschia knit mini-dress is sleeveless. The V-neckline is trimmed with a wide strip of orange suede. Jamie still moves her legs and turns her head from side to side when the button in her back is pushed. Jamie has nice full eyelashes, slightly bent on the left eye. Both of Jamie's knees click, the left is a bit soft. There are no splits. Her toe tips are gone as pictured, shoes or boots cover this nicely. She has some pokes on her right ankle and marks on her fingers. Jamie's hair could use a slight restyle. She displays well, in spite of the noted flaws. Her price takes this into consideration. The price in the 1970 Wishbook was $8.99 and in 1971 it was featured with a $1 price cut, at $7.99. The Gift Set included a Walking Jamie doll in her original outfit (described above) along with an orange fuzzy coat and hat with hot pink vinyl trim and pilgrim shoes, a grey poodle, leash, bone and a yellow dog food bowl and dog food box. These are the same items included in Dog `N Duds #1613 (1964-1965). Walking Jamie Strollin in Style Gift Set was a 1972 Sears Exclusive. It included a Walking Jamie Doll wearing a variation of her original outfit (described above) - The dress is blue, yellow and red with red boots and a blue scarf. The set also includes a blue knit pantsuit with yellow trim. It has a crocheted blue belt and blue pilgrim shoes. She has a white poodle with a blue collar and a blue and yellow ball.
