On offer are two very hard to find version's of Mattel's Quick Curl, Miss America Barbie doll. These beautiful, 1973 Quick Curl Barbie dolls are the version that was offered only in Canada. They are difficult to find. The eyes are a darker blue, and they have painted eye lashes, not the rooted ones. The dress usually has the gold eyelash bodice, similar to the Walk Lively 1972 original Miss America. Her box would have been orange, not pink. These two need tlc. The brunette needs to have her left arm reattached, the blonde doll needs to have her legs attached. I have a another really nice example in my shop now and these three are the only ones I have seen. They come from my dear friend's estate. They have the the Steffie head mold, painted eyelashes, dark blue eyes, twist waist, bendable legs. The white nylon gathered full skirt over white taffeta, is slightly wrinkled. The brunette doll has a red cape with faux ermine trim and Miss America ribbon sash. If you like adding rare dolls to your Barbie collection, These TLC duo are for you! With a little bit of plastic glue, they will be display ready, my price reflects their need for TLC. Please have a wander through my shop for much, much more! I am Doll-lighted to Meet You!
