Reliable Mama Doll - 1934 composition-Big Baby 24" + Vintage outfit

On offer is a BIG, 1934 Mama doll at 24" tall. This bouncing baby girl has a composition head, arms and legs. she has a cloth body with non-working crier, bright blue, tin sleep ey,es, lashes, sweet closed mouth and is Marked: RELIABLE, MADE IN CANADA. This Canadian cutie has staining on her cloth torso and top of her legs as pictured. This looks like darkened varnish or glue. She doesn't have any crazing, has a small chip to the top of her head as pictured. There is a fine crack line, at the front right elbow and the shoulder seams, have had some stitching to close the seam. This sweetheart wears a pair of bloomers with stretched out waist elastic, a taffeta slip, frilly socks, bonnet and lovely embroidered lawn dress, her clothing is from the 1940's-50's. As she is so large, she is a perfect display doll for a buggy or high chair. Her flaws are nicely covered with her clothing. She would be a good doll to display a family christening gown or other special baby outfit...or leave her as dressed, as she is certainly a cutie!
