Pelham-Disjointed Skeleton~Original box-Instructions-1950's~TLC

For your consideration is a Pelham, disjointed Skeleton Puppet in the original box, with cardboard lining and instruction sheet. My understanding is that this box wasn't used as much past 1956. This fella is in pieces and is missing his thigh bones. This is as I found him...I am hopeful that a knowledgeable collector can put him back together. His strings appear to all be here, as are the two wood control bars. Here is some more info about him and Pelham Puppets Ltd Marlborough Circa: 1950s/Composition Made in England Condition: composition good-needs tlc, Pelham Puppets represent a bygone age of hand manufacturing in England. Pelham was founded by Bob Pelham in 1947 in Marlborough, Wiltshire. Over the years there were many different ranges of beautiful wooden puppets created to delight children around the world. Some were very simple with only one or two strings, others were aimed at a more professional puppeteer and were fairly complex. The disjointed skeleton is one of the more unusual puppets made by Pelham. Described as a `trick' puppet, when you tilt the control bar in a certain way the skeleton completely disjoints. This guy needs help as shown, I still feel he is charming in a skeleton sorta way! His box has some shelf wear and a split corner as shown. Please email with any questions and have a browse through my shop for many unique collectibles...I am Doll-lighted to Meet You!
