Magnificent Simon & Halbig lady doll. German bisque shoulder head incised "S H" on front plate with dark blonde molded hair with black hairband in Alice style, pierced ears with green earrings, shaded blue eyes, black lash lines, red lid lines, closed mouth, lip shading line, accented nostrils and eye corners.
Her cloth body with parian lower arms, lacy stocking legs, attached boots with red laces, is in beautiful condition. There is a faded pencil inscription on the lower front torso. Though very difficult to make out, it may read: May Beth.
She is dressed in a lovely vintage velvet and metallic brocade two piece gown over antique underwear. Her undergarments laundered and are fresh and clean.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or repairs to the bisque head or arms. Body in fabulous condition and may an appropriate replacement.
