Pouty Character Baby Doll Gebruder Heubach - Last Chance

German bisque socket head by Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912, marked "7246 Germany Heubach (sunburst) DEP" with very pouty face. This is an extremely high quality doll and is absolutely adorable.

Blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, short feathered brows, closed mouth with darling pouty expression, original dark blonde mohair wig, composition bent limb baby body with beautiful finish. Head and wig are in perfect original condition.

Composition body is in excellent condition and though it does not look repainted, it may have been long ago, as it is devoid of red finger and toe markings. There is no wear and cracking. The fingers on the right hand are less defined than the left, but they are not damaged and the thumb is separate as is the left.

Dressed in likely original, antique costume, consisting of many beautiful hand-stitched layers as shown in my photos.

Adorable very pouty character in what appears to be the completely original costume, with no damage or condition issues. A spectacular buy in a very sweet little cabinet sized doll.

Value Details: The brand new 12th Edition Doll Values by Linda Edward, page 149 value is $1,000 to $1,200 in this size (7" to 10"). My sale price is now below my cost and no further reduction will be made.
