Circa 1898-1910 barn or stable of stamped wood, lithographed in red brick-work with green trimmed shingles, working barn doors, and detachable roof and cupola, by Converse. This was displayed in my home for many years and its rich, vibrant colors never failed to attract attention. I need the room now and wish to move this along to someone who will enjoy it as I have.
Do feel free to email a reasonable offer if you wish. Otherwise, I will send it to an east coast auction if it has not been purchased by the next review date, coming up within thirty days. It is now listed below my cost.
Interior has round window openings in the back and interior stable stalls.
Animals shown are included but may not be original to the stable. They are the appropriate scale as shown in the photos.
Stable measures 18" wide by 9" deep, and 18" tall to the top of the cupola.
Excellent condition with only minor wear as shown in the photos.
These are very unusual to find with colors still so bright and vivid.
I have shown the last photo with the roof as well as the cupola removed so the separate pieces may be seen.
