Antique Doll Blouse Cotton Lawn Victorian Era Beauty

As shown, the center front has embroidered insertion lace with fagoting on either side, shoulder pin-tucks, ruffled neckline, and banded neck and waist. The style is the pigeon-breasted bloused effect so popular in the late Victorian period. The long curved sleeves are wide and have pin-tucks and lace. The blouse buttons down the back. There is a tear at the right sleeve seam in back and a hole on the right front which is hidden in the gathers.

Blouse measures 6-1/2" long in front (shorter when bloused); 5-1/2" long at center back. Waist measures 6"; 6" across the shoulders. Sleeves are 6-1/2" long not including the lace edging. Should fit a doll about 18" or so, plus or minus depending on body type.
