Antique Doll Dress Matching Slip & Pant Early and Beautiful

Dress has a bodice that is gathered in the front at neck and waist, with lace edging on neck, sleeve cuffs, and pant cuffs. The long sleeves are generously sized. Dress closes in back with mother of pearl buttons and handmade buttonholes.

Dress measures 14" long from base of front center neck to hem of skirt; 4" across the shoulders; 9" waist; 4-5/8" sleeve (not including lace edge). Pant measures 6-1/2" long (not including lace edge) and 9-1/2" waist allowing for stitch closure or adding a hook. Slip measures 8-3/4" long and 9" waist with button closure.

Condition is excellent. There is a tear on the left cuff lace that can be easily remedies with a few stitches. The left bodice has wear hidden in the upper gathers from a china head shoulder plate.

A beautiful matched set of antique clothing, estimated circa 1860-1870 from a damaged china head doll that measured 20" tall. The dress came to mid to lower calf on the doll and showed her beautiful china legs.
