Vintage Brilliant Sharply Cut Glass Oil Lamp Base, Circa 19th Century
Offered for sale is this absolutely wonderful brilliant cut crystal oil or kerosene lamp base. I The glass is a beautiful brilliant cut that sparkles so vivid that it was difficult to take pictures. This base is in perfect condition with no breaks, chips or cracks. I do see a mold mark that occurred during the firing process at the bottom the font. The mold mark can not be felt it is only visible if you really look closely. This piece of glass is heavy. It weights 5 pounds. Measurements are as follows: 11 1/2 inches tall,the base and font's diameter's are 7 inches and the circumferences are 22 1/2 inches.
