This is a beautiful solid black walnut finger-carved balloon back medallion back ladies' chair dating from the 1880s in wonderful condition. In its original patina, the solid dark walnut frame is excellent with its finger-carved joints, finger-carved armrests and cabriole legs with a circular seat, all encased in solid black walnut. It has a pink crushed velour fabric up and down on the back and seat, in excellent condition to give you many years of use. It's all tight and sturdy and looks brand spanking new, even though it's 130 years old. The overall size is 23 inches across, 22 inches deep, 38 inches to the top of the chair, and 18 inches to the seat. It's a great chair in fantastic shape.
