This is a lovely and stunning solid black walnut carved arm chair with needlepoint upholstery, dating from the 1920s or 1930s. This gorgeous oversize Victorian style chair is in its original finish, which has a beautiful patina on the solid black walnut frame. It features a carved medallion back with finger carving, carved knuckles, carved cabriole supports, cabriole legs, and a serpentine molded front. The upholstery is an antique pink with a multi-colored floral design. The overall size of this chair is 27 inches wide on the outside of the arms, 22 inches wide on the inside, 22 inches deep from the back to the front, 40 inches high to the top of the chair, 25 inches high to the arms, and 18 inches high to the seat.
