A charming 19th century copper kettle in a rare diminutive size, often referred to as a 'bachelor's kettle'. This kettle has dovetailed seams both around the bottom and up the side.
This lovely old kettle measures 7 1/2" high, to the top of the handle, by 8 1/4" wide, to the tip of its pleasing goose neck spout. It is in very good undamaged condition showing only a couple of minor, expected dings and has that lovely soft patina of antique copper. It is stamped on the bottom with what appears to be the letter 'K'.
