Fantastic Early 20th Century French Art Pottery Figural Leather Driving Glove

A wonderful French art pottery piece cleverly modeled as a leather driving glove, resting palm up, with realistic button, button hole and stitching detail. It is glazed in a sumptuous golden yellow majolica type glaze.

This piece measures 8" long by 4 5/8" wide by 2 3/8" high at the highest point. It is in very good undamaged condition and is marked, as per photo, on the underside.

A fun, unusual and very artistic decorative accessory dating from the first quarter of the 20th century. The glove also makes an interesting business card holder.
