Rare 19th Century Hand Blown Cobalt Glass Apothecary Jar

This rare jar stands 7 1/2" high to the top of the lid finial. The base measures 3 3/4" in diameter and has a ground pontil. The lid finial has a factory polished pontil. Both lid and jar are in very, very good undamaged condition, minor expected wear only. The glass has a wonderful sparkling quality.

I would date this jar to the last quarter of the 19th century.
