A superb 19th century English dovetailed copper kettle with goose neck spout, attractive gadrooned detail on cover and brass trim. This kettle has dovetailed seams on the bottom, the body and spout.
This piece stands 10 1/2" high and measures 12" wide across the body to the tip of the spout. It is in very, very good condition. There are no dents, cracks or deep gouges, just three or four very shallow dings which I would consider minor, expected wear only. The kettle was constructed in a heavy gauge copper and weighs a substantial three pounds.
A very pleasing English kettle dating from the last half of the 19th century.
