Desirable 18th Century Color Twist Stem Drinking Glass

A superb mid 18th century hand-blown drinking glass featuring a graceful bell bowl, semi-conical foot, central annular knop, and color-twist stem. This stem on this exquisite glass features a multi-spiral opaque white and cranberry twist, (MSOT as per '18th Century English Drinking Glasses' by L.M.Bickerton). This drinking glass is believed to be Dutch.

This piece measures 6 1/2" high by 2 3/4" in diameter across the opening by 2 3/4" in diameter across the foot. It is in very good undamaged condition. There are no chips, cracks or regrinds.

A very fine, beautiful and desirable 18th century drinking glass.
