The cover boards of this binding depict one of the beautiful young muses, Terpsichore (her domain is Dance), who sits upon a rock and plays a lyre, looking off in the distance in thought. The text follow this mythological theme of the Muses, presenting an exceptional variety of short stories, historical stories, short stories and music.

The binding is a French "cartonnage" or hard paper board binding It is of a rich and luscious rose pink hue. Each cover board has been embossed with a classic design.
