Art Deco 14K Gold Diamond Sapphire Fancy Filigree Stick Pin Hat Pin Stickpin

This is a gorgeous old Art Deco 14K white gold fancy filigree stick pin with its original early cushion cut mined diamond and square faceted natural sapphire. It has been tested 3 times, same spot, fresh acid and is guaranteed to be solid 14K white gold. It is part of an estate collection and in completely original, excellent condition. The 14K gold head is strong and solid; very well-made. The fancy filigree work is very pretty and extends onto all 4 sides. It also has fancy tiny cut work on the gold edges.

Size is 2 1/2" long. The head alone is 1/2" by 5/16".

The top hold a beautiful bright, sparkly, antique cushion cut diamond that is .09 carat. It is good SI1/2 quality....nice and clear and H/I color.....near colorless. The sapphire is a dark cobalt blue color with semi translucence. Size is .06 carat. Total carat weight is .15 carat. All of the stones are natural, mined and noticeable.

Condition is excellent, gently used. No breaks to the filigree. No wearing down of the gold. Well stored away for many, many decades. This is a Art Deco estate pin for anyone who collects or displays stickpins, hatpins or antique jewelry; it is very pretty and nicely jeweled!
