Magnificent, one of the best pieces of 1800's jewelry I've seen.
Scads of rose cut diamonds, two gorgeous, creamy pearls and one fabulous turquoise cabochon with quartz inclusions. All set into beautiful gold repousse frame with open work. WOW!
The sides and top are layered with sterling silver, which was a preferred method of the Victorian era. It is stamped 19K with a makers mark of A S inside a diamond shape.
It is yellow gold, the back is polished, the front is not and it looks like rose gold, but I am sure it's yellow gold, it has a pink patina. It is 7/8" at the widest part, 2 1/8" by 1 7/8" across the inside, so it will fit most wrists.
There is a button release, push in clasp with a fold over safety, all in perfect working condition.
This was a well loved and well cared for piece, still in excellent condition, no issues to report.
A marvelous piece of history to adorn your arm!
