Cast Iron Still Bank Norco Foundry Piggy Bank

I can't resist a cast iron pig, it's the farm girl in me. Great face, cute ears!

This is an early 1900s Cast Iron Still Bank Piggy Bank. The bank is marked with advertisments for Norco. One side of the pig reads: BUY AT NORCO AND SAVE, the other side reads: NORCO FOUNDRY & SPECIALTY CO, POTTSTOWN, PA. The bank measures approx. 3 inches high x 6 inches long x 1 3/4 inches wide.

Very collectible, this is the real thing, not a repro. They book between $350 and $450. There is normal paint loss and a little rust, but this fellow is in excellent condition. "Country Living" magazine is going to do a feature on piggy banks and a few of mine will be featured...I can't wait!
