From my sister's collection, an unusual vintage ring. 1940's
She went through a period of buying diagonal designs. I like them too, they look unique and pretty spiffy on the finger.
Stamped 14K. It is a great ring, the combination of yellow and white gold with the beautiful ruby red garnets is a deadly beautiful look. The face of the ring is 1/2" north to south and 5/8" east to west.
It is around a size 6 1/2 and can be sized.
The garnets in this ring are not all perfect and it is prices accordingly. The three larger garnets are rose cuts. Two of the larger garnets have chips. I didn't realize it until I looked at it with a loupe. No one would ever notice it on your hand. The larger garnets are 5mm in diameter.
The white gold has this tiny, geometric beading work, while the yellow gold has sweeping lines.
