We thought we were so hip in the late 60's and early 70's, wearing these fabulous Jessica McClintock creations. An ingenious designer!
Ultra feminine, mod and groovy, all at the same time. I still have the corset style one that I wore to the U. of Wisconsin Homecoming in 1970. Can't quite give it up yet, although, a woman in her 60's probably shouldn't appear in public with exposed skin to the navel...
This dress is in fabulous condition. Great, green calico print, with cream lace and emerald green velvet, all set off by carved rose buttons in faux ivory. There is a string tie belt sewn to the middle of the back, could be wrapped artistically around the waist twice or tied in a bow. It's brilliant!
A vintage size 7 (juniors) The waist is 26", the bust measures around 33", but it did zip up on the model, a bit tight at 35"
Perfect for the holidays, or anytime you want to make an impression!
