Vintage DeMario Rhinestone Bracelet & Earrings, Faux Baroque Pearls
Set in gold tone, there is a fanciful mix of faux pearls, large and small faceted, art glass stones and rhinestones in shades of topaz and greens with some aurora borealis thrown into the mix, all accented by gold tone leaves and hand wired onto gold filigree.
The hinged, clamper bracelet has a strong spring and measures 2 3/8" by 2 1/8", so it will fit most wrists. It is 1" at the widest. The clip on earrings also work perfectly and are stamped DeMario with the circle trademark. They are 1 1/4" by 7/8". The set is in great shape with just a little gold tone loss in a few, very small spots. The back of one earring has partial finish loss, not seen when worn.
The DeMario Jewelry Company was founded in 1945 by Robert De Mario. His jewelry is rare and treasured by collectors, making it very difficult to find. His work resembles that of Haskell, and there is a reason for this, he worked for Miriam Haskell in the 1940s. The company stopped production in the early 1960's.
