American coin silver teaspoons 10 with twist handles and an ornate design, c.1860. We do not know the maker, but the spoons have an interestingly intricate design and are very well made.
Each of these double struck, heavy teaspoons has an ornate, period script monogram: RB on the back of the handle and has excellent bowl definition.
The eight weigh a total of 258 grams or 8.3 ozs. Troy and each is 6 1/8" long.
Monogrammed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
Only 8 are pictured, but the price is for the set of 10 spoons.
