American coin silver dessert spoon in a pattern similar to, bit distinctively different from Gorham's Josephine by Hyppolite Prouhet of St Louis, Missouri c.1860. It has a period script monogram on the front of the handle: APH.

This ornate and useful spoon is 7" long and weighs 40 grams or 1.3 ozs. Troy.

Monogrammed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
