Ribbon 7 Serving Pieces Wendt 1870 Sterling SIlver No Monograms

A very nice assortment of serving pieces in the Ribbon Pattern by Johann R. Wendt of New York City, c.1870. All of the pieces have bright cut engravings on the bowls, tines and blades. All save the knives have gilt bowls and tines.

The seven pieces of this hard to find pattern consist of the following:

Salad Serving Set: Fork 8 7/8" Spoon 8 1/2"

Olive Spoon Pierced 8"

Master Butter Knives (2) 7 3/4"

Sugar Spoon 6 1/4"

Preserve Spoon 7"

Total silver weight 295 grams or 9.5 ozs. Troy.

The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.

The soft, warm, original antique finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
