Huge Antique Imari Charger Porcelain
Very large polychrome Japanese Imari charger that is simply stunning. The scene is a couple on a veranda with another person looking out at them thru curtains? Foliage with swirling clouds and a very elaborate border. Late 19th century. The size alone is amazing but the enamel decoration is superb. We will include a large acrylic stand for display. The porcelain is so shiny that the surface reflection made it very difficult to photograph and show the true colors. This charger is authentic and circa 1880 signed by the artist .
