Peggy Nisbet - Sitting Bull - P824

Sitting Bull, a famous Lakota Sioux native-American, led the charge against General Custer and his troops and defeated them. He was a courageous warrior and a mighty leader of his people. Here he is dressed in leggings and buckskin (like) shirt . He is wearing an impressive feathered warbonnet. He wears his hair in the traditional style of long braids. He is 8 inches tall. He is in excellent condition and has his original wrist tag and box.

This would make a wonderful addition to a historical collection. Purchase Sitting Bull with General Custer (also in my shop) and save on shipping.

These lovely dolls are made by the Peggy Nisbet company of Winscombe, England. The emphasis of the company is authenticity. Much research goes into the historical figure and the hand-made costumes are patterned after the actual clothing of the period in which the person lives (lived). Every attempt is made to make the features on the face, the clothing, hair style, and accessories as authentic as possible.
