Norman Rockwell: Out Fishin' - 1935 Coca-Cola Calendar
30 x 62 cm (ap. 12 x 24 inches) calendar, beautifully matted and framed under glass to an overall size of 50 x 83 cm (19 1/2 x 32 1/4 inches). Complete with original metal strip, full pad, and cover page. A few rust stains near staples and one long (rust?) line at the top; otherwise, clean and bright with little wear and few minor tears or marks. Not examined out of frame. A note on the back indicates that the calendar starts December 1934.
A very rare Rockwell Coca-Cola calendar in such great condition!
Antiques Roadshow and the missing Coca-Cola Rockwell paintings: "Rockwell created six paintings for The Coca-Cola Company between 1928 and 1935. Four of these were used for calendars and two were done for print advertising or billboards. The Archives has three of these original paintings in our collection [including the original for Out Fishin'], two of which were acquired in the last 10 years, but the other three are still missing."
