Hand Carved Primitive Butter Paddle

For your consideration is an early hand carved butter paddle in Maple wood dating from the mid to late 1800's. The paddle is Ohio in origin. Aside from the shrinkage crack in the paddle (see photos) the condition is very good with NO breaks, repairs or replaced wood.

The paddle is 10 & ½ inches long and 4 & ¼ inches across.

A really nice example of Americana and a great addition to any wooden-ware collection.
