Fine Estate 14K Yellow Gold Diamond Australian Opal Pendant

This beautiful, solid 14k yellow gold pendant has a gorgeous, solid, not doublet or triplet, Australian opal prong set as it's centerpiece. The opal has wonderful play of color which is hard to capture in the photographs. The stone has a gray background color and displays brilliant green, red, blue, yellow and purple flashes. The opal weighs 4.02 cts and is in very good condition with no cracks or crazing.

The mounting has a brushed gold leaf design with a prong set round brilliant cut diamond. The diamond is VS-2 clarity, H color and weighs 0.05 cts. The bail should accommodate a 1.0 mm wide chain. The pendant is in very good estate condition and is priced to sell.
